Instructions:
- 1. Start by heating up your glue gun so it's ready for use.
- 2. Take the foam wreath ring and hot glue one end of your Halloween Ribbon to what will be the back of the wreath and wrap it around, overlapping numerous times until the whole wreath ring is covered. Don't be afraid to mix and match ribbons, overlap them creatively, and use whatever spooky and festive ribbon you like to customize your wreath.
- 3. Cut the ribbon and hot glue the end in the exact same spot that you started on the back of the wreath.
- 4. To make your wreath hang, begin by measuring and cutting an additional piece of ribbon. Fold the ribbon in half to create a loop and use glue to secure the inside of the ribbon to the wreath, preferably at the same spot where you wrapped the ribbon earlier. Allow the glue to dry completely. Once it's dry, tie a knot or a bow at the top of the ribbon to finalize the loop.
- 5. After adding your wreath hanging loop, arrange your clothespins around the wreath in your desired pattern. Once satisfied with the position of the clothes pins, use your hot glue gun to glue them in place.
- 6. Once you've glued the clothespins in place, allow them to dry for about five minutes. Then, it's time to add the fun size packs of Halloween candy!
To take our haunted Halloween wreath to the next level, we've added a center to ours. By attaching a circular piece of wood with hot glue, we've created a sturdy and eye-catching focal point for the wreath. However, feel free to get inventive with your design! You can leave the wreath hollow, or if you prefer more support, cut out a cardboard back or use a circular wood piece like we did. The choice is yours, and the possibilities are endless!
Let your creativity run wild and spook up your wicked wreath! Enhance its eerie charm by adding decorative Halloween decor such as mini spiders or bats. Use your hot glue to attach these creepy critters among the candy, creating a haunted and fun Halloween vibe that's sure to impress trick-or-treaters and party guests!
